Manhood

I love TV. Always have. Two of my favorites of all time are Seinfeld and Parks and Recreation. I say this to introduce my new focus for this blog.

I've always felt like Jerry. Just a boy wearing men's clothes. "Not us, but 2 men could". Funny, yet unsettling.

I LOVE Parks and Recreation right now and the main reason is Ron Swanson. Ron is a man's man. He's confident, calm, can fix anything and live off the land. He's not perfect by any means but that manliness is attractive to both men and women.

I say all of this to say that I want to be seen as and feel like a man. I know the only real manliness though is Godly manliness and that's what I want to explore going forward in this blog. I want to be a Godly husband, father, employee, employer, family member and friend. I will only do this by modeling Godly manhood.
